Peoples Agenda Folks Gather Signatures

GRO - Grass Roots Organizing is pleased to announce that the Missouri Medicaid Reform Petition has been certified for circulation by the MO Secretary of State Robin Carnahan!
If we can get the required registered voter signatures by the end of April (about 120,000)Medicaid reforms will be on the November 2006 ballot for the people of Missouri to decide. This offers hope to thousands of Missourians and it would allow those cut from Medicaid and others facing the total elimination a way to save the public health insurance.

Petitions are out for signature gathering. The Peoples Agenda folks conducted a news conference Wednesday, January 4, 2006,at the Missouri State Capitol to kick off the Peoples Agenda campaign and to offer training and materials to circulators.
